The 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit offers a hassle-free solution for setting up a base for your new shed. With its interlocking design, this base is simple to assemble and provides a robust and durable foundation. Made from 100% recycled plastic, it’s not only eco-friendly but also allows for ventilation and drainage, keeping your shed floor dry. Reusable and lightweight, this base can be repositioned easily, offering flexibility and sustainability for your garden setup.

Effortless Assembly with Interlocking Design

One of the standout features of the 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit is its interlocking design. This innovative design ensures that the base can be quickly and easily assembled without the need for specialised tools or expertise. Each of the 50 squares in the kit measures 500 x 500 x 40mm, making it simple to interlock and lay onto a firm, level ground. This means you can avoid the tedious task of laying slabs or concrete, saving you both time and effort.

Eco-Friendly and Sustainable

In today’s world, sustainability is more important than ever. The 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit is made from 100% recycled plastic, making it an environmentally friendly choice for your garden. By choosing this shed base, you are contributing to the reduction of plastic waste and promoting a more sustainable future. Plus, if you ever decide to move or reposition your shed, the base can be reused, further enhancing its eco-friendly credentials.

Superior Strength and Durability

Despite its lightweight nature, the 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit boasts a super strong interlocking grid system. This ensures that your shed has a stable and secure foundation, capable of supporting significant weight. The durability of the recycled plastic material also means that the base will not rot or degrade over time, providing a long-lasting solution for your shed.

Optimal Ventilation and Drainage

Proper ventilation and drainage are crucial for maintaining the integrity of your shed. The design of the 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit includes features that allow for both ventilation and drainage under the shed. This helps to prevent moisture accumulation, keeping the shed floor dry and reducing the risk of damage from dampness or mould.

Convenience with Included Membrane

To further enhance the functionality of the base, a heavy-duty, commercially-graded membrane is included with the kit. This membrane adds an additional layer of protection, preventing weeds from growing through the base and ensuring a clean and tidy appearance. The inclusion of the membrane means you have everything you need to set up your shed base in one convenient package.

Practical Installation Tips

For the best results when installing your 16×8 Plastic Shed Base Kit, it’s recommended to use 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). This will help to stabilise the base and provide additional support. Make sure to lay the base on a firm, level area of ground to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
